To Tie For

We did family portraits a few weeks ago & in preparation, I made some bow ties for my boys. Here is what I did….

I started with a length of canvas (left over from a previous project) & cut off a small square section.

I then folded and ironed the edges.

Next I glued the edges in place.

Then I folded the middle of the square together and glued it in place.

Then I took a long, slim piece of canvas and wrapped it around the middle of the bow tie and glued it in place.

Finally, I took a small clip….

My next post will have the completed project, so come on back y’all!
